Le Groupe de Travail de Caritas Internationalis pour le Sahel(GTCIS) a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9e le 06 novembre 2006, par le Secr\u00e9tariat G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Caritas Internationalis (CI) sur recommandations de Caritas Afrique, de la Coordination de la Zone CERAO, des Caritas de la zone sah\u00e9lienne et ses partenaires du r\u00e9seau de Caritas Internationalis, suite \u00e0 la crise alimentaire de 2005 et des difficult\u00e9s rencontr\u00e9es par certaines Caritas lors de la gestion de cette urgence dans la zone.<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019objectif g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du GTCIS est de promouvoir le dialogue et la concertation entre les Caritas du Sahel et les Caritas du Nord, ainsi qu\u2019avec toute autre organisation int\u00e9ress\u00e9e. Le Groupe se r\u00e9unit chaque ann\u00e9e pour r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir sur une th\u00e9matique qui interpelle les pays du Sahel. <\/span><\/p>\n
